Вообщем опорную точку мне опять же дала Савва. А сегодня я ее перепроверила и развила дальше. Короче, была такая древнегреческая богиня Лето, у нее родились близнецы, внебрачные дети Зевса - Апполон и Артемида. Артемидв постоянно охраняет покой, близнецы очень близки. Они символизируют Солнце и Луну также. (Джей и Шеннон, и вспоминаю сразу гитару Артемис, ни в знак ли некого уважения к брату Джей так ее назвал?)У Апполона в подчинении было 9 муз. В египетской мифологии существует Аппоп - змей, поглотивший Солнце. Бог Солнца - Ра и он же хранитель Пантеона - главной обители (сразу вспоминается главная тема на форуме). Апполон создал оракула, Ра тоже его создал. Оракул - провидец. Джея часто называют провидцем. Аргус - великан, которого Зевс поставил охранять свою любовницу - Ио, но жена Зевса, Гера, все равно узнала про нее и тогда Зевс превратил ее в белую корову. Гера наслала на нее проклятье, от которого Ио смогла освободиться только оббежав вокруг земного шара и остановившись в Египте. В Центральной Америке есть такое понятие как Шибальба - это типа ада. Там 9 кругов ужаса, через которые должен пройти умерший. Пройти их и воскреснуть удалось лишь двум братьям близнецам, которые после этого воскресли и стали символизировать Солнце и Луну.

Я здесь вспоминаю Modern Myth и Praying for a Riot. Они сами собой символизируют Смерть и воскрешение. А промежуток между ними длится 9 минут с копейками... Короче, не знаю я... Но как-то слишком много совпадений.... А если взять карту и соединить, к примеру, Каир, Афины и лос- Анжелес, то образуется что-то вроде стрелки, указывающий на 30-градусный мередиан...

Hey y'all!

So, I've read some mixed reviews this week. People saying that perhaps the band wasn't giving it their all. Or that maybe they had lost their touch. I am here to say: That is totally not true!

THE SHOW ROCKED!!!

I apologize if you don't think I'm a true concert go-er, but I got their as 30 was taking the stage. And left immediately after. (To go to the signing.) Jared and all the boys were dressed in their usual black. And the stage was awesome - with Japanese paper laterns and shades. I thought it was a really cool look. And, I got a new tshirt. A black one with two red dragons on it. Very Japanese looking.

We were on the left side of the stage, but kept walking closer and closer. (I think this venue is kind of a joke. People just go everywhere all the time!) The played (not in order) The Kill, The Battle, From Yesterday, Attack, The Fantasy, ABL, and I think one more. (Sorry, I'm really bad at remembering that stuff.)



At one point Jared ran out into the audience, right on my side of the venue. He was immediately mobbed by people. And even though he was probably about 20 feet away, I couldn't see him at all because he was drowning in a sea of fans. He then ran to the edge of the section, walked down a row, and sang while standing on top of a seat. I stood on my seat and he was probably about five rows from me. I have to say, it was pretty awesome. I think a lot of people who don't know a lot about the band just think, "...oh, Jared Leto, movie star turned rocker..." - but they don't understand. I mean, that's pretty fucking hardcore. How many other bands would even think of doing that? Security had no control whatsoever. People were just going everywhere, standing on their chairs. It was maddness. It was amazing!



SO, while the set was short, I thought it was aweomse! They sounded amazing and were kicking ass. At the very end, Jared told everyone to turn around to some emo punk in the back that was giving him the middle finger, and say "FUCK YOU!" I also think that people don't realize that he doesn't give a fuck what people think about him.



Then we went to the signing. These things have become a bit repeatative and meaningless. Of course you had to buy merch to get a red wristband. My friend didn't have one - so she asked the guy behind us if she could borrow his red LiveStrong bracelet. I didn't think it would work, but it totally did. We got up to the front (we were pretty far back in line). And of course the crappy security was like, "NO PICTURES! ONE ITEM! HAVE YOUR ITEM READY!" When we got to the table, I grabbed Shannon's hand cause he was looking the other way and told him thanks. When I got to Jared I told him thanks too and that it was great to see him again. But here's the wierd part - and maybe someone can explain this to me. They were all wearing latex gloves.....??? Was there some sort of chemical weapons scare that I didn't know about? Is it cause it's the end of winter and they don't want to catch a cold from someone? I've been reading up on other dates, and I don't remember anyone mentioning it. ANYWAY - I was wearing my "home-made" 30STM hoodie. Which is really a red 30STM tshirt from the fall that they all signed, that I then cut out and safety pinned to a black American Apparel hoodie. Shannon pointed at it and said he loved it. (Which was cool. Because I wore the exact same hoodie to the Blood Ball in Philly on Halloween. And Jared was talking to that reporter while signing stuff. And he stopped to say, "You see that, that's the stuff I like. Shit like that is awesome. I love that.") They signed a sign that I had torn off the wall that said, "30STM signing at 10PM". But, I have a lot of stuff signed by them. I appreciate much more the time spent takling the them or taking pictures after shows. (Like in Baltimore at the Nutcracker show!)



So - I have to say. The show was awesome. And I would reccomend it to any fan. The signings on the other hand, may be a waste of time.
